Size Guide

• 1 to 2 uses in a mini simmer pot

How to Use

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons to a small stovetop pot, simmer safe dish, or mini electric simmer pot
Add 1 to 3 cups of water depending on your vessel
Warm on low heat to gently release fragrance
Add more water as needed to prevent drying out

 

You may reuse the same botanicals for up to 2 days when stored in the refrigerator between uses

Always keep an eye on your simmer pot while in use
Do not leave unattended or on high heat
Follow instructions for electric simmer pots
After use, compost botanicals when possible and rinse your pot with warm water

🌿 BREWING & USE

• Begin with fresh, cold water and bring it to a gentle rolling boil.
• Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 6 oz cup of water, or 1 heaping tablespoon per quart for a larger pot.
• Pour hot water over the tea and allow it to steep for about 4 minutes, or longer if you prefer a deeper apple and cinnamon flavor.
• Avoid boiling the botanicals directly in the water. Instead, pour the hot water over the tea and allow the ingredients to slowly infuse.
• Enjoy warm, or chill and serve over ice for a refreshing iced tea. For a cozy finish, sweeten with local honey if desired.
